This stained glass soldering board provides a stable and square work surface for assembling and soldering panels and can be used with push pins and nails.

You don’t need this specific board to start working with stained glass. Alternatives like kitchen corkboards, a simple drywall sheets, plywood, or MDF also work well. This is simply the version we use and love ourselves.

We originally made these boards for use in our own workshop, and after many asked to take one home, we decided to make them available here as well. Each piece is handcrafted in small batches, so stock is often limited, but if we see growing interest, we’ll expand production.

Our board includes a built-in 90° corner guide to help with perfect panel alignment, plus a small hole for hanging when not in use.

Please avoid water contact, as it can damage the wood. Over time you’ll notice burn marks from soldering and slight flux stains. these are completely normal and expected.

If you like using push pins, MDF is the best choice. It’s soft and uniform, allowing pins to go in smoothly. If you prefer a board that withstands heavier use or you tend to work with nails, go for plywood.

If you’d like to make a similar board on your own, feel free to reach out with any questions! We’re happy to share tips.

⚠️ Important: Risk of fire. Always use a soldering iron stand or holder. Do not rest a hot soldering iron directly on the surface.
